Sunday found a full crowd of riders out at Indian Dunes to race on Easter. There were thrills and spills all day as they went for the fine trophies.
In the Expert divisions, there was some good battles going oa In the Open class, Chris Bartlett took the win on his new 400 Penton. This was his first win in the Expert division and Chris was looking good on his Horizons Unlimited machine.The West LA rider was really smoking as he took the overall win. In doing so, he beat out Buttons Saddler of Arcadia and Tom Grant, the speedster from Newhall.
In the 250 bout, it was the Maico speedster Cole Hastings. Cole was really whipping it around the track as he took the overall win and all the cash. In second place was Ken Shlerx from Baldwin Park. Monty Gibson put in a fine performance taking third place.
In the 125 class, it was Andy Jennings taking the win on his Honda while he was pressured by Tom Bartnett. Andy held him off and took the win with Bartnett taking second. Third place went to Randy Miller of Sylmar.
