CRC hosted a fine crowd for District 37 motocrossers this weekend with thrilling . One of the best baules of the day was in the Powder Puff class. When the dust cleared, it was discovered that Sue Fish was the overall winner. Paulette Napolenone was declared second overall on her Honda, while D. Dunchan gave them both a scare by taking third.

Jim Connolly returned to the 125 class to show them who was the fastest as he took another overall victory. Second was Joe Kehoe, riding his Monark.

In the 250 Expert class, it was none other than Allen "Crasher" Cooke taking the honors. Allen really stretched it out in taking both the moto wins. He is really hot on that Bultaco of his. Second place was Larry Bird, riding his new Montesa VR. Third place went to Ron Blanton, also on a Bul.

Speaking of Buls, the story wouldn't be the same without Mike Hannon winning the Open Expert class on his Bul. Mike again did the trick and got first place. Second went to Jim Connolly again-same as at Valley Cycle Park. John Rice brought his Nick Nicholson Greeves in for third overall.

Other big winners included Kirk Benke in the 250 Novice class. Kirk is now riding for Steve's Bultaco. Steve Gordon took his Maico to an Open Amateur win, with Dave "Pop Cycling" Hetzler in third. Dave Krikac came out and got third 250 Amateur.

All in all, CRC had a fine day of District 37 motocrossing.
